Lisa is the lead IBD Clinical Nurse Specialist at University College London Hospital and manages the nursing service, she has been in her current post since 2011. She has worked predominately in gastroenterology since qualification in 2000 and worked in both the UK and Australia. She has a MSc in Advanced practice.

Lisa has an interest in adolescent care and service development for which she was awarded the Nurse Award from the BSG in 2021. She has published in Gastrointestinal International Nursing and Nursing Standard on IBD and IBD nursing. She is an active member of the IBD RCN network and steering committee member for the RCN Gastrointestinal Nursing Forum
