Shaila is highly experienced CNS in the Pelvic Floor Unit. Qualified as RCN in 2003 and has over 23 years of NHS experience with double Masters, most of in different GI specialties. Shaila joined St.Mark's National Bowel Hospital in 2010 as London Health Improvement Specialist for BCSP. Following successful intake programme she joined the Ano-rectal Biofeedback to expand her knowledge on Physiology in 2018 continuing at St.Mark's. Shaila's role is to manage a case load of functional conservative bowel and pelvic floor patients. She also worked in UCLH Neuro-gastro team offering her expertise to set up Straight to test pathways.She offers Physiology and Psychological interventions. Besides clinical role, Shaila is committee member of BSGNA, London representative for ACP and Nurse representative for International committee of BSG. Avid reader and contributes towards teaching and publications, learning and sharing her expertise.
