The Association of Stoma Care Nurses UK (ASCN UK) is a UK based professional organisation and registered charity supporting stoma care nurses across all levels of practice. ASCN UK provides an expert clinical resource for both newly qualified and experienced specialist nurses caring for individuals with a stoma, ileo-anal pouch or complex fistula and wound management needs.

The Association is committed to advancing the art and science of stoma care nursing through the development and sharing of evidence based best practice and nationally accredited guidelines. ASCN UK promotes consistency in standards of care, professional education and research, while encouraging collaboration both nationally and internationally. Through representation of the stoma care nursing specialism within the wider healthcare landscape, ASCN UK supports the ongoing development of the profession and works to improve outcomes and experiences for people living with a stoma.
